Suburbia
At long last, the construction of the Lagoon surrounding Saphiron has come to fruition! Due to aid from a person by the name of Nemexis, the new bit of land only took a short while to complete. Now there are those who may ask, “But Haukbjorn, haven’t you been working on this for a while now?”
Fuck you.
Anyhow, houses are being constructed, big houses, small houses, rich houses, poor houses. All of which are excellent.
Out of the heart of darkness and into another.
Islands, islands, islands. The biggest delay at this point is not having enough Island. We need more island. Especially in the nature of a lagoon.
Boy, lagoons sure are great… Unless they serve a more sinister purpose, such as the summoning site of a greater gnarloch. Whatever the hell that is. I think it’s from Warhammer… Whatever.
Anywho, I’ve been delving into the World of Darkness books by White Wolf and I must say that this is exciting. It takes classic ideas of vampire, werewolves, and faeries and revamps the shit out of them all badass like, Unlike that Twilight crap. Pardon the pun.
“Oooh, ama vampire and I shparkle!!”
>.> I pity the fool.
No. World of Darkness focuses on the darker aspects of life and amplifies it twenty-fold to where life is downright tough, with rapist and murderers down 20x more alleyways than in our world, and the supernatural playing a rather large part in society, be it by influence from Vampire, Ghosts, Geists, Or what have you.
There are even Mages. Yes. Mages. So go out there and be a Wizard. Name your character Gandalf and show up on the dawn of the third day to the east, riigghht where I need you. Save me with your mighty might-ness. Have an excellent day.
Sincerely,
Your face.
Nota bene, Sub sole nihil novi est
Dear cultists, sycophants, and practitioners of traditional voodoo medicine,
If any of you have followed my colleague’s postings, you’ll be aware that we are behind schedule in conduction and orchestration of the world of Saphiron. It shan’t take long for us to pick up the pace, but note that everything shall be completed soon enough. Great things take time, patience, and general love. Our delay is therefore, obviously caused by lack of love. Or perhaps we simply overworked ourselves in the creation of new and exotic places. One may note that the construction of Salemport was completely entirely done by me, lighting, fluff, and all, with the exception of the graveyard. Shazen and I teamed up on that one. The future dungeons, we hope, will be a painful experience for our unsuspecting victims, and also memorable.
It shall be biblical.
And erotic.
Perhaps sapphic in nature, I suppose.
Love,
Haukbjorn.
P.S. I know what you did last summer.

More news for Saphiron today. Salemport, a small village to the southwest of Saphiron, has begun conducting diplomatic missions. Locals can expect to see diplomats wearing brown Waders and fishing hats sometime within the next year.
Reports say that Salemport is soon to be a site of tourism for the people of Saphiron and surrounding towns due to the swamp village’s alligator wrestling and excellent fishing. One man has said to have caught a trout-man of all things.
In unrelated news, communication with Heathkirk, Crassley, and Obsidia has recently been cut off. Causes to this are unknown, but are expect to be resolved shortly.
It’s time for some more news, Ladies and Gentlemen (Gentleman, as I only have one follower), The Aerocraft Engagement Repair and Offices, or “AERO tower” has returned to operation after a long absence due to power inequalities. One local said this, “The marrow is back? What? Oh, you said Arrow. What, now? Oh AERO. I remember when arrows were the weapon of choice back in the good ol’ days. I used to be a miner, like you, until I took an arrow to the knee.”
It appears that new franchises have popped up around Saphiron, including the Fast Food place known as “Panda McTaco King”. Reviews say that their food is cheap, but if you want organic, you’ll be forced to give up a kidney.
The Saphiron City Emergency Hospital has undergone renovation recently and apparently looks fantastic. I haven’t seen it myself, but from what I’m told, It will take a while to pay off the construction guys.
The Calypso Hotel is where those who are looking for luxury find it. With five floors, it has the largest rooms available topside to anyone looking, which include usable balconies for it’s residents.
